Kanwal Public School is situated 10km north of Wyong on the Central Coast of NSW. The school serves a community that lies between the Pacific Highway and the shores of Tuggerah Lakes. The school was established in 1911.
The school is a member of the Wadalba Learning Community with an enrolment of 640 students, taught by a dedicated staff who provide quality teaching and learning programs. The school has a support staff catering for students with special needs.
Our Aboriginal student population is 12% and our school has strong links with the Ngara Aboriginal Consultative Group.
Kanwal Public School offers a broad range of extra-curricular activities including dance, drama, band and stringed instruments, environmental education, team sports, public speaking and debating and Aboriginal dance and didgeridoo groups.
